If you open your eyes,
in any part of the street,
bit by bit, your eyes will feel a change.
If you walk straight,
while looking down at your device,
chances are you'll hit a bamboo pole
or two.
A city under construction,
year after year,
constructed and destructed,
with a finite existence.
The City of God.
As the humans start working,
at the orders of god,
to build a home everywhere,
each one unique,
a home to the same goddess's family,
each telling the same story.
Of the win over evil,
a devil put to death.
The goddess is furious,
yet beautiful and calm.
The devil dark and ugly,
Says the story of the winner,
and we celebrate the death.
rush to see her eyes.
Maybe though,
they are tired of the same story,
and all they want to see,
is the interior design.
In the dark she's lit up,
and so they come to see.
In some days she's in the sea,
sunk or dissolved, a slow death.
Not forgotten, ever present,
in her permanent temple.
The City of god has disappeared
to return the next year.
in any part of the street,
bit by bit, your eyes will feel a change.
If you walk straight,
while looking down at your device,
chances are you'll hit a bamboo pole
or two.
A city under construction,

Of the win over evil,
a devil put to death.
The goddess is furious,
yet beautiful and calm.
The devil dark and ugly,
Says the story of the winner,
and we celebrate the death.
As the city of Maa Durga
slowly comes to light,
all the believers and worshipers, rush to see her eyes.
Maybe though,
they are tired of the same story,
and all they want to see,
is the interior design.
In the dark she's lit up,
and so they come to see.
In some days she's in the sea,

Not forgotten, ever present,

The City of god has disappeared
to return the next year.
I really appreciate Harsh, its a beautiful poem.
